answer text <p>We recently consulted on the rules for the Warm Home Discount to apply in 2015/16. As part this consultation, we proposed amending the Industry Initiatives element of the scheme to allow participating energy suppliers to have the opportunity to provide rebates to residents of Park Homes. Providing support to park home residents in this way would be at the discretion of suppliers, who would also determine the level of support made available. The consultation closed on 13 November and we are currently analysing the responses. We expect to lay draft Regulations in early 2015.</p> more like this

Member for Wrexham and the position has not changed.</p><p> </p><p>Lady Justice Macur’s Review is entirely independent of Government and its timetable is a matter for her. She is on record as saying that her Review would be thorough and that she would not draw any conclusions until she had considered all the evidence. I am, however, confident that good progress has been made and the Review is nearing its completion. The Government looks forward to receiving Lady Justice Macur’s Report next year.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The government condemns violence against women and girls in all its forms and is clear that political or cultural sensitivities must not get in the way of preventing, identifying and prosecuting practices like breast ironing.<br><br>There are currently no plans to commission a study to establish the prevalence of breast-ironing in the UK amongst the Western, Eastern and Central African disapora communities.<br><br>However, the government is working with local areas to support them to identify areas of need in their communities in order that they provide services to victims.<br><br>Where breast ironing is practised on girls it is child abuse and should be treated as such by all frontline professionals.<br><br>The clear legal frameworks that apply to child abuse apply to breast ironing.<br><br>As with any other form of child abuse, any cases should be referred to the police who will investigate and where appropriate work with the CPS to prosecute.<br><br>It is important that affected communities come together to speak out against such abhorrent practices and denounce them for the crimes they are.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

We have prioritised work to end VAWG and break the silence on all harmful traditional practices like breast ironing.</p><p> </p><p>Tackling the root causes and drivers of sexual and gender-based violence is essential to make progress on eliminating violence against women and girls. While we do not have programmes specifically addressing the harmful traditional practice of breast ironing, we are working to end all forms of violence against women and girls in whatever way it presents itself. answer text <p>Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) Ministers and officials meet intermittently with representatives of UK postal companies, though there have not been any recent representations from such operators specifically on the issue of delivering mail in urban areas of the country.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Under the Postal Services Act 2011, Parliament gave Ofcom as an experienced and independent regulator the primary statutory duty to secure the provision of the universal service to all addresses – urban and rural – in the UK. Ofcom maintains an ongoing monitoring regime which tracks Royal Mail’s performance and any actual or potential market impacts on the provision of the universal service. Ofcom has said that their own evidence clearly shows that the service is not currently under threat.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Ofcom has been reviewing the case which Royal Mail has been making about the potential impact of competition on their ability to provide that service and is expected to make a statement very shortly.
