A review of teacher assistant standards for schools in England was launched recently. It is led by Kate Dethridge who is being supported by a panel of experts. A public call for evidence will be initiated shortly which will explore good practice across schools. The Department for Education also plans carry out a public consultation once the standards have been agreed by the expert panel. SMRs could also present high value commercial opportunities for the UK.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has commissioned a feasibility study to assess the technical, economic and commercial case for SMRs. This will inform the evidence base for further decision making. All 44 Phase 1 local projects are delivering superfast broadband to homes and businesses. In August the programme had reached 1 million premises, and by February 2015 we will have reached 2 million homes and businesses. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2014 answer text <p>The York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Growth Deal is part of the £12 billion long-term programme to revitalise local economies.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Growth Deal for York, North Yorkshire and East Riding will see investment of £110 million to support economic growth in the area, including creating up to 4,000 jobs and allowing up to 5,000 homes to be built. As the Leader of North Yorkshire Council said “this long-term investment from Government recognises the potential of the rural economy in York, North Yorkshire and East Riding”.
