Immigration officials are authorised to give greater scrutiny or priority to specific nationalities when carrying out entry clearance, border control and removals functions on the basis of a risk assessment which indicates that those nationalities constitute a greater risk to immigration control. For national security reasons, the nationalities concerned are not disclosed.
