Local authority forecasts of business rates are not available split by rateable</p><p> </p><p>value threshold or business sector.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>As at 31 March 2013, 89% of hereditaments had a rateable value of £50,000 or</p><p> </p><p>lower. HM Treasury will provide additional funding as required and this will be agreed as part of the 2014-15 Supplementary Estimates. The £2 million funding to Easbourne Council will be used to support local businesses and traders. An emerging neighbourhood plan may be a material consideration. The National Planning Policy Framework sets out the weight that may be given to emerging plans in decision taking. We have set out in planning guidance where circumstances may justify the refusal of planning permission on the grounds that an application would be premature in relation to the emerging Local or neighbourhood plan. This means that every year that the firefighter pays employee contributions into the 2015 scheme, they will earn more pension.
