<p>The disclosures to which the Noble Lord refers occurred under the previous Labour administration. This Government has regular and valuable contacts with the Government of the Republic of Ireland on a range of issues of economic and political significance. It does not, however, refer issues to the Irish Government for approval.</p><p> </p>
