answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/03/2015 answer text <p>As pledged in the Collation Agreement, this Government has safeguarded national Green Belt protection and increased protection of important green spaces.</p><p>We have abolished the Labour Government’s top-down Regional Strategies which sought to delete the Green Belt in and around 30 towns and cities. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/03/2015 answer text <p>New Homes Bonus has been allocated to East Hertfordshire and North Hertfordshire councils in the year 2014/15 as follows:<br><br>East Hertfordshire £2,190,429<br>North Hertfordshire £1,982,455<br><br></p><p>The total New Homes Bonus allocated since April 2011 is as follows:</p><p>East Hertfordshire £7,628,975<br>North Hertfordshire £7,503,553</p><p> </p><p>The Bonus ensures that local authorities who promote and welcome growth can share in its economic benefits, and build the communities in which people want to live and work. Disability Confident is a campaign to help employers discover for themselves the talents and value that disabled people bring to business.</p><p> </p><p>Launched in July 2013 by the Prime Minister, supported by business leaders and disability employment organisations, Disability Confident sets out the business case for those employers unsure about the benefits of employing disabled people. It overcomes the fear factor for those employers worried about the logistics or afraid of saying the wrong thing, and emphasises the support available for employers. It highlights the great work that employers are already doing and encourages others to join in.</p><p> </p><p>Disability Confident is a partnership approach – a business-to-business dialogue. Partners learn from each other about how to become disability confident, with support from Government and disability organisations.</p><p> </p><p>In the first year of the Disability Confident campaign we held seven regional events across the UK, reaching more than 1,100 employers. In July 2014 we launched a toolkit for MPs – so they can bring together employers and disabled people in their own constituencies.</p><p> </p><p>On 27 February a very successful Disability Confident event, coupled with a Jobs Fair, was held in St Albans. Opened by Cllr Geoff Harrison (the Mayor of St Albans), and Anne Main MP, the event provided an opportunity for around 120 jobseekers to make contact with local employers. In the last year the Department received 8 letters from MPs and 8 other items of correspondence about reinstatements.</p><p> </p><p>It is for local authorities to determine the resources assigned to enforce requirements relating to street works. Councils have powers through the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 to inspect reinstatements and to require utilities to carry out remedial works to comply with their reinstatement duties. Further powers are available through the Traffic Management Act 2004 where local authorities can introduce permit schemes for street works, and enforce conditions about how works are carried out. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/02/2015 answer text <p>Since 2011 over 130,000 young people have taken part in National Citizen Service (NCS), giving an estimated 3.2 million hours of volunteering to their communities.
