answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) does not collect data on the numbers of workers leaving the UK defence industry.</p><p>In our most recent assessment, MOD official statistics showed that MOD spending with UK industry in 2017-18 directly supported 115,000 jobs across the country, and others report that 260,000 jobs are supported directly and indirectly across the sector.</p> more like this
