However, we are aware of the growing interest in alternative funerary methods. The Law Commission are considering, as part of its Burial, Cremation and New Funerary Methods project, the disposal of human remains. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/05/2024 answer text <p>There are existing ways in which a Property and Financial Affairs Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) made in England and Wales under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 can be accepted abroad for the purpose of accessing funds. A certified copy of the LPA, signed off by a notary public with an apostille (a special sealed certificate) attached by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office provides one method. Alternatively, a translation of the LPA can be formally recognised by the appropriate court of the country in which funds are held.</p><p> </p><p>Although the UK has ratified the 2000 Hague Convention on the International Protection of Adults in respect of Scotland, we have not yet done so in relation to England and Wales or Northern Ireland. However, in respect of England and Wales, the majority of its provisions are contained in Schedule 3 of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005. Schedule 3 provides a framework for recognition and enforcement of ‘protective measures’ such as LPAs in the place of an individual’s habitual residence.</p><p> </p><p>We recognise the importance of ratifying the 2000 Hague Convention, as this will bring about international co‐operation to deal with the affairs of individuals across member states. It is an industry tool to inform mortgage valuation. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) have issued guidance on the use and application of EWS1 forms.</p><p>Following the Department’s work in this area, a number of mortgage lenders have joined a voluntary commitment to offer mortgages on properties affected by building safety issues. We expect it will include a selection of indicators giving an assessment of food security across the five themes identified in the UK Food Security Report (UKFSR), including domestic food supply and imports.</p><p> </p><p>We expect the annual FSI will focus on a selection of indicators that typically show variation on an annual basis. The updated UKFSR, which will be published later this year, will include analysis of longer-term trends, such as the impact of changing climatic conditions on food security.</p><p> </p><p>Defra officials are considering what would be most useful to monitor on an annual basis. The £7,500 grant is available for both ASHP and ground source heat pumps, making it one of the most generous grant schemes of its kind in Europe. A shared care agreement would be put in place to ensure continuity of care and appropriate monitoring. Any medication listed under the National Health Service high cost commissioning list is accessed via specialist commissioning routes, and delivered directly to the healthcare team at the prison. Any medication not listed as high cost will be dispensed in the usual way, via the healthcare dispensing services.</p><p>Healthcare teams within prisons ensure the appropriate monitoring is in place, and that there is ongoing continuity in medication throughout the patient’s stay at the prison. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/02/2024 answer text <p>People in prison are entitled to the same standard and range of health and social care services, as they would receive in the community. A number of mechanisms are deployed by healthcare and pharmacy teams within prison settings to ensure continuity of access to medication. A robust medicines reconciliation will be in place, usually within 24 hours of arriving at a prison, to ensure the healthcare provider is aware of what medication the patient is currently taking. Medication will be re-prescribed within the prison healthcare setting at the earliest opportunity and medication will be either supplied direct to the patient for their own management or will be administered on a dose by dose basis at a treatment hatch.</p><p>Minor ailment protocols allow healthcare staff to supply low level medication for the management of simple health conditions. Patients can request these as needed and will be assessed by the healthcare team for suitability. Patient Group Directions allow the healthcare team the opportunity to administer or supply prescription-only medication for a group of patients, within strict inclusion criteria. Medication should be supplied on release and transfer to ensure continuity.
