Friend the Member for Richmond (Yorks) (Mr Hague) visited Colombia in February this year and discussed business and human rights in his meetings with President Santos, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance and Trade and with civil society. We have a strong partnership with the government of Colombia on implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, in the context of the November 2011 Joint Declaration on Human Rights. I had a substantive discussion with the Deputy Foreign Minister regarding these matters during my visit to Bogota in June.</p><p> </p><p>The Ambassador and Embassy team regularly meet representatives of Civil Society to hear their concerns about human rights in Colombia, including business behaviour. If British firms are involved we raise issues with them as appropriate. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/10/2014 answer text <p>The Department does not hold information on when individual wind turbines were constructed and installed, nor on repair and maintenance of wind farm developments.</p><p>It does however hold records of wind farm developments becoming fully operational and the number of turbines associated with those developments. This data does not identify the perpetrator. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/10/2014 answer text <p>The Government is not notified of every case when a child is removed overseas by a relative, therefore we cannot provide accurate figures for abducted children. There are a number of steps that left behind parents can take if their child is taken overseas without their consent and we urge parents to contact the relevant desk officer in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Consular Directorate country casework teams who can provide further assistance. <br><br>The UK lobbies countries that are not signatories of the 1980 Hague Convention to sign it. If a child is removed to a country that is a signatory of the Hague Convention there are systems in place to help secure the child’s return. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/11/2014 answer text <p>The downstream oil market is subject to UK competition law; where it is not the role for Government to set the price of petroleum products in an open competitive market.</p><p>In January 2013, the Office for Fair Trading published the results of a Call for Information to investigate whether or not competition problems existed in the road fuels market. This included investigating concerns that pump prices rise quickly when the wholesale price goes up but fall more slowly when it drops. I would encourage people of all ages to ensure they have properly considered making a will so that, if the worst happens, their property is passed on in line with their wishes.
