UKAid support to the 2017 UN General Assembly and the Prime Minister's Call to Action to end modern slavery has helped develop Nigerian Government commitment to investing in anti-slavery initiatives. Other UKAid support for prevention, prosecution of traffickers, protection of high risk communities and support to victims are just beginning and their effectiveness cannot yet be judged.
