answer text <p>The science is increasingly clear that in order to keep 1.5 degrees celsius within reach, we must halve emissions by 2030 and reach net zero CO2 emissions by the middle of the century. The UK COP26 Presidency has made it a priority to encourage all countries to make net zero commitments and they now cover over 70% of the global economy, up from 30% at the start of our Presidency. We will continue to press all countries to make such commitments as part of an outcome in Glasgow that keeps 1.5C within reach.</p> more like this
