answer text
On 17 February, the Foreign Secretary, discussed Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe's case with the Iranian Foreign Minister. Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe's family in Tehran have confirmed she has legal representation. The Iranian position on dual nationality makes progress difficult and we do not interfere with the legal systems of other countries. Nonetheless we will continue to raise her case with the Iranian authorities at the highest levels at every available opportunity, as I did in a telephone call with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister on 21 June.
more like this

answer text
The Government was clear in its White Paper that we aim to have as seamless and frictionless a border as possible between Northern Ireland and Ireland. There is a very strong commitment from the UK and Irish Governments to find a practical solution that recognises the unique circumstances on the land border between Northern Ireland and Ireland. We welcome the European Council’s commitment to develop flexible and imaginative solutions, and the establishment of a dialogue between the UK and EU Commission to discuss this issue.
more like this
