answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/03/2019 answer text <p>The Government has committed £7 billion of funding for school places between 2015 and 2021, on top of investment in the free schools programme. The school system is on track to create 1 million places this decade, the largest increase in school capacity for at least two generations.</p><p>The Department collects pupil forecasts, existing school capacities, and plans to deliver additional school places from each local authority via the annual school capacity survey. Information from local authorities, together with information on centrally funded projects to add places, such as new free schools, is used to produce estimates of the future need for school places.</p><p>The latest available estimates show that the 20 secondary planning areas within Nottinghamshire may require an additional 997 secondary school places by 2023/24 in order to meet forecast demand, of which Mansfield Secondary planning area may require 82 additional secondary school places.</p><p>The latest published data held relates to the position in the 2016/17 academic year and includes secondary forecasts to 2023/24. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/02/2019 answer text <p>Local authorities are required to provide schools with sufficient funds to enable mainstream schools to meet the additional cost of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, up to the value of £6,000. This funding comes from the schools’ block of the Dedicated Schools Grant. While authorities will identify a notional special educational needs (SEN) budget for each school within the school’s overall budget, that notional budget is not ring-fenced, and schools are expected to manage their overall budget to best meet the needs of all their pupils, including pupils with SEN.</p><p>When the costs of additional support required for a pupil with SEN exceed £6,000, the local authority should also allocate additional top-up funding to cover the excess costs. This top-up funding, and all funding for special schools comes from the local authority’s high needs budget. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/10/2018 answer text <p>Access to primary care dental services nationally remains high, in England 22.1 million adults were seen by dentist in the 24 month period ending 30 June 2018 and 6.9 million children were seen by a dentist in the 12 month period ending 30 June 2018.</p><p> </p><p>We are aware that there have been local recruitment difficulties in Mansfield which have resulted in some dental practices offering fewer appointments than usual. NHS England North Midlands advises it is working closely with providers to address these issues and ensure that access improves.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is responsible for commissioning dental services. It has a legal duty to commission National Health Services dental services to meet the needs of the local population. We have not published a list of the individual clubs and locations. However, a number of clubs were operating in Nottinghamshire as part of the 2018 pilot programme.
