DWP is not making use of DLT currently but it is of interest to the Department as it has a number of possible applications where there exists a lack of trust between the actors writing to a system. It is most applicable when there are requirements that the data be shared (for read and write access by multiple parties to multiple replicated masters), distributed (for resilience and high availability), immutable with non-repudiation of the committed writes. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/07/2017 answer text <p><strong> </strong></p><p>We are intending to publish further data on payment timeliness in due course, but our latest internal data, for week ending 19 June, suggests some 80% of cases were paid in full at the end of the first assessment period.</p><p> </p><p>For the 20% of cases who were not paid in full we estimate around a third have not signed up to their claimant commitment so cannot be paid until they have. The other two thirds have an outstanding verification issue, such as providing bank statements, evidence of childcare costs, or proof of rent. We continue to work closely with Government Digital Service to support the success of the Verify online system. A programme of work is currently underway to look into what information on ESA waiting times is available to publish as official statistics on the ESA-WCA process. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/07/2017 answer text <p>The Gas Safety (Installations and Use) Regulations 1998 require landlords to ensure that each gas appliance and flue in a property provided for tenants’ use is checked to ensure it is operating safely by a Gas Safe registered engineer within 12 months of being installed and at intervals of not more than 12 months since it was last checked. Such checks must be done on each gas appliance – not just a representative sample.</p><p> </p><p>A recent consultation by the Health and Safety Executive on these Regulations involved an assessment of the adequacy of landlords’ gas safety checks, including with respect to carbon monoxide. As part of this approach, we announced an innovative new programme of support to help parents, whether they are together or separated, to reduce conflict. This is based on the most recent evidence, which tells us that children who are exposed to frequent, intense and poorly resolved conflict are at risk of experiencing poorer long term outcomes. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/07/2017 answer text <p>The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will not be attending the International Aircraft Cabin Air Conference at Imperial College, London in September 2017. HSE works with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to regulate health and safety at work in the aviation industry. This operates through a memorandum of understanding and associated guidance document CAP 1484 (see documents attached).</p><p>CAP 1484 states that by agreement CAA regulates health and safety on board aircraft and advises on the health implications of exposure to hazardous substances on crew and passengers.
