answer text <p>ISIL is designated under the UN Al Qaida sanctions regime (given effect by UN Security Council Resolution 1267) which is implemented in the EU by Council Regulation 881/2002, with the criminal penalties imposed in the UK by the Al Qaida (Asset Freezing) Regulations 2011. The Al Qaida financial sanctions is implemented in the UK by HM Treasury.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>It is therefore a criminal offence for any legal or natural person, including financial institutions, to deal with funds belonging to ISIL or to make funds or economic resources available to ISIL. It is a criminal offence for individuals or organisations knowingly to provide support for ISIL, including by the facilitation of oil, oil products, or commodities including historic artefacts. This was most recently underlined in UN Security Council Resolution 2199, which the UK Government co-sponsored.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Treasury no longer provides forecasts after the Office for Budget Responsibility was created by this government in 2010 to provide independent and authoritative analysis of the UK’s public finances. Their next set of forecasts will be released on 18th March; the Chancellor will make a statement on them in his budget speech.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK economy grew by 2.6 per cent in 2014, the fastest of any major advanced nation in 2014, and forecasts are for robust growth to continue in 2015: the IMF, Bank of England, the OECD and the CBI all forecast the UK economy will grow by between 2.6 per cent and 2.9 per cent in 2015.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>65+ Bonds can be cashed in without penalty after the death of a sole, or last surviving Bond holder.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Information about the tax treatment of 65+ bonds is available in the brochure for the bonds, the terms and conditions under which the bonds are issued and in the annual statement issued to bond holders.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The income earned on the bonds is taxable and tax at the basic rate will be deducted when interest is added to a bond. This applies equally to any bond interest paid after the bond holder’s death. There is no capital gains tax charge when one of these Bonds is cashed in either by the original purchaser or the purchaser's legatee.</p><p> </p> more like this
