The report that was published in November covered administrative issues. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/12/2018 answer text <p>The UK and the EU have agreed the Political Declaration, which sets the framework for the UK’s future relationship with the EU. The UK and the EU recognise that this means there could be a spectrum of different outcomes, and both have agreed that we should be as ambitious as possible. The analysis shows that the modelled White Paper scenario, and the sensitivity modelled around it, would support higher economic output for all sectors, nations and regions than the no deal scenario. This will form part of the wider UK-EU future relationship negotiations.</p><p> </p><p>The financial settlement has been agreed under the terms of the withdrawal agreement. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/12/2018 answer text <p>The Government set up the Money Advice Service (MAS) to provide free-to-use financial guidance for all consumers, whatever their circumstances. Moving forward, the Government has legislated to merge the functions of MAS with those of The Pensions Advisory Service (TPAS) and Pension Wise, to create a Single Financial Guidance Body, which will simplify the existing public financial guidance landscape.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has also implemented a regulatory framework for financial services that ensures firms give support to vulnerable consumers, such as people diagnosed with cancer who have banking and other financial problems. The Financial Conduct Authority has a statutory objective to protect consumers and its <em>Principles for Business</em> require firms to pay due regard to the interests of its customers and treat them fairly.</p><p> </p><p>The Government supports ongoing FCA work to make help available to vulnerable customers, such as the publication by banks of a list of additional services they offer customers, including specialist cancer support services.</p> answering member constituency Salisbury answering member printed John Glen question first answered 03/12/2018 16:06:57 answering member 4051 label Biography information for John Glen
