However, industry figures from the Rail Delivery Group suggest that the number of planned train services per year has increased from 5.69 million in 1997-98 to 7.30 million in 2016/17. The industry also cites some specific examples of increased services on routes to London, such as Manchester to London increasing from 17 trains per day in 1994 to 47 in 2016, and the number of trains from London to Sheffield increasing from 15 per day in 1994 to 31 in 2016.</p><p> </p><p>In relation to the number of seats, According to the Rail Delivery Group, there were 10,400 vehicles in passenger use in 1996/97 compared to 14,025 as at March 2018, an increase of over 3,500 vehicles or nearly 35%. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/05/2019 answer text <p>The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) makes around 745,000 medical licensing decisions each year and aims to complete 90 per cent of these within 90 working days. The length of time taken to deal with an application depends on the medical condition involved and whether information is needed from medical professionals.</p><p> </p><p>The DVLA has recruited additional staff to process medical applications and notifications. This includes increasing the number of doctors and introducing nurse caseworkers to deal with specific conditions. The DVLA is also working with third parties, for example, GPs, consultants and opticians, to reduce the time taken to receive the information it requires to make licensing decisions.</p><p> </p><p>The DVLA also provides an online service for customers to notify a medical condition or renew a driving licence previously issued following a medical condition. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/05/2019 answer text <p>The 2015 Spending Review confirmed a funding envelope for the whole of HS2 of £55.7bn in 2015 prices.</p><p> </p><p>HS2 Ltd has been set Delivery-In-Service targets by Government under its Development Agreement, which are to deliver initial Phase One services from 2026 and the whole HS2 network by 2033.</p><p> </p><p>HS2 Ltd is currently working with their contracted suppliers to update and agree the latest cost and schedule positions for Phase One. Contributions in to the Railways Pension Scheme are split according to a shared cost arrangement, whereby employers (the Train Operating Companies) pay 60% and employees pay the remaining 40%. Since franchising arrangements were first introduced Train Operating Companies have been, and continue to be, responsible for paying employer pension contributions during a franchise term.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Under the East Midlands Franchise Agreement Abellio will participate in and become the Designated Employer for the East Midlands section of the Railways Pension Scheme. Abellio will be obliged by the Franchise Agreement to pay the employer contributions required under the schedule of contributions applicable during their franchise term.
