<p>The Department and TfL are the joint sponsors of the Crossrail project. The Crossrail
project sponsor role is underpinned by a Sponsors Agreement and the Project Development
Agreement.</p><p> </p><p>Further details about the Department’s responsibilities as
a co-Sponsor of the project are set out in the Department’s recent response to the
