answer text <p>Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), on behalf of the MoJ, is responsible for allocating food budgets to all adult public sector prisons across England and Wales. As the food in each prison reflects the specific needs of the prisoner population locally, the ultimate decision on what is provided and the cost of each meal rests with the individual Governors, and as such, financial data is not readily available.</p><p> </p><p>There are separate budget arrangements in place for the private sector prisons.</p><p> </p> more like this
