To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what the average number was of previous
offences committed by (a) men and (b) women who were given a custodial sentence of
(i) up to six months, (ii) six to 12 months, (iii) 12 months to 2 years, (iv) 2 to
4 years, (v) 4-8 years, (vi) 8-20 years, (vii) over 20 years and (viii) life imprisonment
in the last year for which information is available.
