<p>Figures for convicted foreign national prisoners by offence group and nationality
as of 31 December 2021 in England and Wales can be found in the table attached.</p><p>We
are committed to removing foreign offenders from the UK by working with international
governments and reviewing our early removal mechanisms to maximise the removal of
serious and persistent offenders.</p><p>Since January 2019 we have removed more than
10,000 foreign national offenders from our prisons, immigration removal centres and
the community (to year ending September 2021).</p>
