answer text <p>Measures introduced in the 2016 Autumn Statement enable UKEF to increase export finance capacity for individual countries by up to 100%, subject to country reviews.</p><p>UKEF's public expression of current risk appetite for new business for each country is available on its website. It does not hold historical information about its public expression of risk appetite for each country, but the website notes where the risk appetite has been increased following the Autumn Statement.</p><p>UKEF publishes details of the support it provides by country on an annual basis on its website. Details of its support for the last year will be published once its 2016-17 Annual Report and Accounts are laid before Parliament.</p> more like this

answer text <p>There is currently no such title or role as a Prime Minister’s trade adviser. However there are currently no plans for a Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Central America. The exact make up of our overseas engagement is under constant review in order to balance our global efforts and resources to achieve maximum strategic benefit to the UK.</p><p> </p><p>We support international trade and investment through a range of engagements tailored to individual markets and regions. The Department for International Trade leads on this work and has an international staff network, including in the Central American markets of Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and Panama. DIT’s work to place the UK at the forefront of global trade is supported by other government departments as well as British business, Business Ambassadors and Prime Minister’s Trade Envoys.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The central marketing campaign implemented by UKTI over the last year to drive new exporters; Exporting is GREAT, covers the whole of the United Kingdom. As the budget is centrally held and the paid-for marketing activity is centrally procured through a media buying agency it is not possible to detail the breakdown of the budget by region or nation.</p><p> </p><p>The Exporting is GREAT campaign includes multi-channel promotional activity, outreach engagement across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, supported by PR activity to maximise awareness, interest and engagement. A list of the paid-for activity to support this programme is detailed within this response.</p><p> </p><p><strong>November 2015 Launch: </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>TV, Digital / Social, Search, National Press</strong> <strong>–</strong> Full National programme targeting first time exporters across the whole UK, including devolved nations</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Radio </strong>– national and specific regional coverage through the Bauer and Global networks.</p><p> </p><p>The regional media was achieved through a mix of Bauer (City 1, City 2 and City 3, Magic , Kiss and more) and Global (LBC, Capital, Heart and Smooth Networks and more) local radio stations across the UK. At the bottom of this outline is a comprehensive list of all the stations that are part of these networks.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Outdoor advertising</strong> - 689 digital poster sites across key urban metropolitan areas in England, Wales, Scotland and NI.</p><p> </p><p>This includes including large format roadside commuter screens, premium sites in urban centres and sites screens in shopping centres. answer text <p>During the two-year pilot of the Overseas Business Network initiative (OBNi) (2013/14 and 2014/15), the former UK Trade &amp; Investment trialled a number of initiatives with the BCC for which they were granted £1.6m. This included accrediting the overseas service providers, mainly chambers of commerce, and co-ordinating UK-end activity.</p><p>In 2015/16, BCC were contracted to continue to accredit overseas delivery partners and deliver one global conference, for which they received a total of £334,225 (incl. of VAT). They will continue to accredit overseas chambers in the network in 2016/17, under contract up to a maximum value of £157,680 (plus VAT).</p><p> </p><p>BCC were also subcontracted by UKTI’s main contractor for its Inward Investment Programme between 2012 and 2014 for a total value of £2,552,704.</p><p> </p><p>The former Department for Business, Innovation and Skills made a number of relatively small payments to the BCC in each of the past four years, for things such as an exhibition stand at the BCC Annual Conferences and a small number of regional events. These payments total around £22,000 across the four years.</p>
