answer text <p>The UK cannot negotiate trade agreements whilst we are members of the EU.</p><p> </p><p>Under the terms of the Withdrawal Agreement with the EU, the UK will be free to negotiate, sign, and ratify Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) during the Implementation Period (IP). We can only implement those agreements once the IP comes to an end.</p> more like this
