answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/06/2015 answer text <p>The UK maintains that a short set of goals and targets to replace the Millennium Development Goals would be ideal, but we recognise the strong consensus among UN member states to maintain the Sustainable Development goals and targets on the Open Working Group in their current form.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK has consistently supported the content of the proposed Sustainable Development Goals. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/06/2015 answer text <p>The UK is providing more than £33 million to the earthquake response in Nepal. This includes £10 million for a new health programme so that children can continue to be immunised, women can deliver babies safely and work can commence on rebuilding up to 1,000 damaged health facilities. This was announced by DFID’s Secretary of State during her visit to Nepal on 19-20 May. Our support has also provided many thousands of needy people and affected communities with access to clean water and essential shelter, and has transported thousands of boxes of food rations and lanterns. question text	To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, how much UK aid has been spent in support of privatising electricity in Nigeria since 2002; and through which funding streams that aid was provided.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/03/2015 answer text <p>The UK has spent £39 million since 2002 supporting the reform on Nigeria’s power system. Of this around £7 million has been spent directly on support to privatisation and around £14 million on market and regulatory reform.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Support has been provided through two phases of the Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF) programme. The first phase ran from 2007 to the end of 2011 (and spent £15.5 million on the power sector, of which £4 million was on privatisation). The second phase started at the end of 2011 and runs to December 2016 (and has spent £23.5 million on the power sector to date, £3 million on privatisation).
