answer text
My department is funding up to £9.4 million to Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership for the delivery of the A34 Lodge Hill interchange. The Cities and Local Growth Unit requires updates and proof the scheme is on track in order to provide the agreed funding on a yearly basis between 2017/18 – 2020/21. In March 2018 the unit was satisfied the project was on track to be completed as planned and provided the second wave of funding.

Oxfordshire County Council are the scheme promoter and are leading discussions with Her Majesty’s Government. Highways England are partnering and facilitating discussions with Oxfordshire County Council regularly, and meeting them on a monthly basis as they develop their proposal to add south-facing slips to the A34 Lodge Hill interchange. They are currently compiling the evidence needed to demonstrate that the plans will not have an adverse effect upon the safe and efficient operation of the network.
more like this

There are a number of different factors which determine whether or not an individual is eligible to receive universal credit and, as most of this information is not held centrally, we are unable to estimate the number and proportion of staff eligible to receive or likely to have applied for universal credit.
more like this

answer text
The Social Housing Green Paper recognises many landlords play a role that goes beyond their key responsibilities, which includes providing guidance to vital services such as mental health services. Through the Green Paper, we are seeking to gather evidence on the impact of the important role that many social landlords are playing.

Social housing and more widely, supported housing, provides a vital service for vulnerable people, including people with mental health issues. Safeguarding provision and supply of appropriate supported accommodation is a priority for my department and we will continue to provide capital grant funding to promote new supply of supported housing.

Our recent announcement confirming funding for all supported housing will stay in Housing Benefit, will also give confidence to the sector to continue to invest in new supply. We are also reviewing oversight arrangements for all supported housing. As a Government, we are investing record levels in mental health, spending £11.98 billion in 2017/18.

On 18 October we wrote to stock owning local authorities consulting them on a draft determination revoking previous determinations that specified a local authority's limits of indebtedness.

In addition, local authorities can bid alongside housing associations for the £9 billion Affordable Homes Programme to build affordable homes. We are also providing a longer term rent deal for 5 years from 2020 to provide local authorities with a stable investment to deliver new homes, and we have consulted on options for allowing local authorities more flexibility in the use of their Right to Buy receipts, including extending the time limit for spending Right to Buy receipts from three years to five years for existing receipts.
