answer text <p>The Government has protected overall police spending in real terms since the Spending Review in 2015. In addition, nine police forces have submitted a total of 11 bids collectively, for Home Office innovation or transformation funding in relation to local projects involving support for people affected by mental health issues. Of these, six of the bids have been successful.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Many police forces have local joint initiatives with health partners to respond to people with mental health issues. For example, approximately 38 police forces in England have access to a Street Triage service – where mental health professionals accompany police officers on patrol and all forces have access to mental health partners who provide advice and support them in dealing with the public. Information on the average number of responses to calls from people with a mental health issue, by the police, is an operational matter for individual police forces and is not held centrally by the Home Office.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Businesses required to comply with the transparency in supply chains provision, now included in the Modern Slavery Bill, will be required to publish their annual slavery and trafficking statement on their website. They must also include a link to the slavery and human trafficking statement in a prominent place on their website’s homepage. <br><br>Where a business uncovers slavery or trafficking in their supply chains they will be encouraged to report their concerns or findings to the relevant authorities in that jurisdiction. The statutory guidance to support businesses <br>in understanding what kinds of information they may wish to include in any slavery and trafficking statement may include guidance on reporting concerns.</p><p> </p> more like this
