answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/06/2015 answer text <p>All public services, including the police, need to take their fair share of the savings to reduce the deficit and help the country live within its means. Final police funding settlement allocations for 2015/16 were confirmed on 10 February, following a debate and vote in the House of Commons. After careful consideration, the Government decided that, as in previous years, all police forces in England and Wales would receive the same percentage reduction in core central Government funding. This is a transparent and straight forward approach and was the basis on which many Police and Crime Commissioners and forces had made their financial plans.</p><p>The Government has committed to a fundamental review of the police funding formula to ensure that allocations to local forces are fair and appropriate. It is currently jointly owned by the Home Office and the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC), until Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) take full ownership. <br><br>As the Home Secretary said in her speech on 20 October, it is for PCCs to take immediate decisions on the specific functions of the company, and the development of a collective approach to managing and procuring police ICT.
