In all cases where the Immigration Rules were not met, consideration was given to leave outside of the Immigration Rules on exceptional grounds.</p><p> </p><p>The Grenfell Relatives’ Policy announced on 11 October 2017 allowed relatives granted a short period of leave outside of the rules, to extend their stay up to six months from their date of entry to the UK. The Home Office also publishes data on returns by nationality.
