This draft Bill is currently undergoing scrutiny by a Joint Parliamentary Committee.</p><p>For victims of domestic abuse who are married, or are partners of, British or settled sponsors, there is the option of applying for immediate crisis support under the Destitute Domestic Violence Concession (DDVC).</p><p>In the Government’s response to its consultation on Domestic Abuse we committed to a number of further non-legislative measures in respect of migrant victims of domestic abuse. This included a commitment to consider widening the cohort of individuals eligible under the DDVC. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2019 answer text <p>The Home Office is putting in place measures to ensure that the EU Settlement Scheme is streamlined, user-friendly and accessible to all prospective applicants.</p><p>We have been working closely with voluntary and community organisations across the UK representing the needs of potentially vulnerable applicants including victims of human trafficking and domestic abuse. The range of support includes telephone advice from our customer support centre; face-to-face assisted digital support and a range of translated content when the scheme opens fully in March.</p><p>As the Prime Minister announced on 21 January, having listened to concerns raised in constituencies, by Members in the House and stakeholders, applicants to the EU Settlement Scheme will not have to pay a fee when the scheme is fully rolled out by 30 March. Anyone who has applied during the pilot phases of the scheme, or does so, and paid an application fee, will have that fee reimbursed. Robust legislation is in place to deal with domestic abuse online, as well as internet trolls, cyber-stalking and harassment, and perpetrators of grossly offensive, obscene or menacing behaviour.</p><p> </p><p>We have committed to strengthening our response to domestic abuse through the publication of a draft Domestic Abuse Bill, and we are working with partners across Government on our domestic abuse consultation to ensure it is as robust and thorough as possible. The consultation will be launched shortly.</p><p> </p><p>Through the Tampon Tax Fund, we are providing funding £250,000 to Refuge to launch a programme aimed at protecting and empowering women against the abuse of modern technology.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, as part of the work on the Digital Charter announced in the Queen's Speech, the Government is considering a range of options to counter internet harms more broadly. This includes an Internet Safety Strategy, published on 11 October, which looks at how we can support users so that everyone can access the benefits of the internet safely.</p><p> </p><p>As part of the Internet Safety work, the Digital Economy Act requires Government to introduce a voluntary code of practice for social media companies.
