answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/01/2018 answer text <p>There are no plans to publish such a list.</p><p>The Azure card is no longer provided to failed asylum seekers supported under section 4(2) of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.</p><p>People receiving this support are instead issued with an “Aspen card”, which they can use to buy food and other essentials to the value of £35.39 per week. The Home Office regularly reviews the level of the cash allowance to ensure that it is sufficient to cover their essential living needs.</p><p> </p><p>The current allowance of £36.95 per week for each person in a household has been in place since 6 April 2015 and was set following a review that took place earlier that year. There was a further review in 2016 and a report of the outcome was published in March 2017: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/report-on-review-of-cash-allowance-paid-to-asylum-seekers" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/report-on-review-of-cash-allowance-paid-to-asylum-seekers</a></p><p> </p><p>The report sets out the methodology used in the annual review to assess the adequacy of the allowance, which has been accepted by the courts.</p><p> </p><p>A further review is currently ongoing. Where the gender of the main applicant is recorded, 9,987 were males and 2,135 were females.</p><p>There were 6,456 families supported under section 95 as at the end of December 2015. It is not possible to identify single parent families from the published statistics.</p><p>The figures provided are published in table as_17_q, in volume 4 of the Immigration Statistics asylum data tables. The data provided by gender are a subset of published figures.
