answer text <p>Police recorded crime and Crime Survey for England and Wales estimates are not broken down by (a) financial and (b) consumer fraud. There is a gap between the levels of police recorded fraud and the estimated number of frauds in the Crime Survey.</p><p>The City of London Police, the national lead force for fraud, are working with businesses to increase the level of reporting to Action Fraud and the new IT system for Action Fraud, which went live earlier this month, will make it easier for businesses and individuals to report incidents of fraud.</p> more like this
