answer text <p> </p><p>The public consultation on options to review section 24 of the Animals <br>(Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 closed on 13 June 2014 and we are actively <br>analysing responses in preparation for pursuing legislative change.<br><br>We are already exploring the use of an Order under section 75 of the Freedom of <br>Information Act 2000 to amend or repeal section 24 of the Animals (Scientific <br>Procedures) Act 1986. My intention is that any legislative change that we <br>decide to make will be in force by May 2015.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Currently there are (a) 94 e-Passport gates in use at UK ports, and (b) five e-passport gates in use at two of Manchester Airport's Terminals (10 in total).<br><br>It is not currently possible to provide the data relating to the questions of travellers using e-Passport gates and the number of rejections.
