Key measures in our world-leading childhood obesity plan include the soft drinks industry levy and sugar reduction and wider reformulation programme which are reducing the amount of sugar children consume.</p><p> </p><p>Current advertising restrictions in the United Kingdom on high fat, salt or sugar (HFSS) products are among the toughest in the world. Strict new rules came into effect in July 2017 banning the advertising of HFSS food or drink products in children’s media. These restrictions apply across all non-broadcast media including in print, cinema, online and in social media.</p><p> </p><p>In August 2017 we announced £5 million investment in a policy research unit on childhood obesity to provide a robust evidence, evaluation and research capability including looking at the impact of marketing (including advertising) on childhood obesity. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/03/2018 answer text <p>To support women with endometriosis, all obstetricians and gynaecologists have been trained in the diagnosis, investigation and management of the condition, which is specifically listed as topic in the core curriculum for obstetrics and gynaecology. The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology has published clinical guidelines on the management of women with endometriosis to assist clinicians.</p><p> </p><p>Through its mandate to NHS England, the Government has set out ambitions to improve the care and support of people with long-term conditions in order to help them to live healthily and independently, with much better control over the care they receive.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England has developed a service specification for severe endometriosis under the specialised commissioning area of complex gynaecology. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/03/2018 answer text <p>The level of provision of infertility treatment is decided by local clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) and will take into account the needs of the population overall. NHS England has advised that it recognises that there is a great deal of interest in the quality and availability of in vitro fertilisation (IVF) services, and is developing a benchmark price that the National Health Service pays for fertility treatments, which will become available for use in 2018/19. NHS England is also working with CCGs and various stakeholders including the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority, to understand how best to help them commission IVF services.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England has advised that, because CCGs are responsible for the commissioning of IVF, it is essential that any support that is given is developed in partnership with them. That is why NHS England are now working with NHS clinical commissioners, the national member organisation for CCGs, to identify the best way of supporting CCGs. The costs of branded medicines are controlled by the Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme and the statutory scheme for branded medicines. For unbranded generic medicines, the Department encourages competition between suppliers to keep prices down. In primary care, community pharmacies are incentivised to source products at the lowest possible cost and in secondary care competitive tenders ensure value-for-money to the National Health Service. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2018 answer text <p>There are more people training to be general practitioners than ever before with a record 3,157 graduates entering general practice training in 2017-18.</p><p> </p><p>In October 2016 my Rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care announced a historic expansion of undergraduate medical education in England, by funding up to 1,500 additional medical school places in each year from 2019. The criteria for the award of these additional training places includes as a focus the need to include priority specialties such as general practice.</p><p> </p><p>Medical schools are responsible for setting education curricula at undergraduate level.
