answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/05/2019 answer text <p>The 2019 Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing and Access, and the statutory scheme for branded medicines pricing, work together to control the cost of branded medicines to the National Health Service and ensure it stays within affordable limits.</p><p> </p><p>The 2019 Voluntary Scheme began on 1 January 2019 and will run for five years until the end of 2023. The Voluntary Scheme aims to provide stability and predictability for all parties in terms of the United Kingdom’s branded medicines expenditure and the medicines pricing and access environment for the period 2019 to 2023. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/05/2019 answer text <p>Obesity and poor diet are risk factors for bowel cancer in young people.</p><p>The second chapter of the world-leading childhood obesity plan was published in June 2018. This builds on the real progress made since the publication of chapter one in 2016, particularly in reformulation of the products our children eat and drink most. In chapter two we have set a bold ambition to halve childhood obesity by 2030 and significantly reduce the gap in obesity between children from the most and least deprived areas by 2030.</p><p>Many of the measures in both chapters of the plan will have an impact on tackling obesity across all age groups. These have to meet the standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC), who then monitor and check to make sure that these standards are maintained.</p><p>The curricula for postgraduate specialty training is set by individual royal colleges and faculties, and the GMC approves curricula and assessment systems for each training programme. Training curricula for doctors emphasise the skills and approaches that a doctor must develop in order to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses and treatment plans for their patients. The Royal College of General Practitioners sets the curriculum for general practitioners (GPs). We are committed to ensuring everyone has access to the care and support they need, based on a principle of shared responsibility.</p><p>One of the important elements of the dementia fund proposal was greater use of Personal Health Budgets (PHBs). PHBs are one way to give people with long-term health conditions and disabilities more choice and control over the money spent on meeting their health and wellbeing needs. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/05/2019 answer text <p>The South East London pathology network is being created as part of a national strategy to network all National Health Service pathology services in England, following identification of significant opportunity in the 2016 Carter review.</p><p>Due to the significant benefits to quality and cost of service, all NHS trusts are expected to network as per the direction set out by NHS Improvement in September 2017.</p><p>There are different ways to approach networking and the delivery of pathology services and the trust may wish to lead public consultation on any chosen delivery model, however the decision to consult would be for the South East London hospitals involved to decide.
