answer text <p> </p><p>The Food Standards Agency (FSA) advises that the set up and operating costs will be resourced from the FSA’s operating budget. The FSA has committed to a review of likely future needs after two years. The Elliott report estimates that the Food Crime Unit will cost between £2-4 million per year. answer text <p> </p><p>The Food Standards Agency (FSA) advises that the Food Crime Unit is likely to include seconded police officers and other experts, as appropriate. The exact mix of background and skills has not been finalised. In addition to officers working within the Unit, the FSA will continue to work with an extensive network of law enforcement partners (including the police and Local Authorities) to access and draw on intelligence to task investigations and to build links internationally.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p> </p><p>Experiments on animals have been performed over a number of years with the first successful pronuclear transfer (PNT) technique performed in mice in 1983 by McGrath and Solter. Maternal spindle transfer (MST) is a technique developed in the United States of America in 2009 and has been performed successfully in mice, non-human primates, as well as in sheep and cows. Research on both MST and PNT has been carried out successfully on human embryos.
