<p>All of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) outcomes indicators are chosen on
the basis that they contribute to the overarching aims of the five domains in the
NHS Outcomes Framework.</p><p> </p><p>The indicators are developed through three routes:</p><p>
</p><p>- The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence makes recommendations
on indicators to NHS England;</p><p> </p><p>- NHS England and the Health and Social
Care Information Centre (HSCIC) also directly develop indicators; and</p><p> </p><p>-
Where new indicators are introduced to the NHS Outcomes Framework, consideration is
given by NHS England and the HSCIC as to whether these are measurable at CCG level.</p><p>
</p><p>The CCG Outcomes Indicator Set 2014-15 includes an indicator on the proportion
of adults in contact with secondary mental health services who are in paid employment.
The potential for other employment-related indicators will be considered as part of
the future development of the CCG Outcomes Indicator Set.</p>
