answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/11/2018 answer text <p>Since 2012, when the EU granted Burma duty-free, quota-free market access on &quot;Everything But Arms&quot;, EU imports from Burma have risen almost ten-fold, to €1,558 million in 2017. Most of the EU's imports are of textiles and apparel. This has substantially expanded employment opportunities for women in Burma. The direct impact of a decision to suspend preferences and re-introduce tariffs would not be on the military, but on the textile businesses and their employees, including many vulnerable women employed in Burma's garment sector. We are working with Member States, and are in discussions with the Commission, to ensure that the likely impacts are thoroughly considered before any decision is made. The latest UN figures estimate, as of September, 16,144 refugee and migrant arrivals in 2018, of which 4000 – 4,400 remain in country. We are concerned by attempts by politicians to politicise the migration issue. The British Government calls on the Government of Cameroon to take urgent action now to address the crisis in the Anglophone regions. We hope that President Biya will reach out to all sections of Cameroonian society and work to build confidence and trust. It is crucial for all parties to engage in a peaceful and structured process leading to constitutional reforms, as previously set out by the President, and avoid excessive use of force. The UK will continue to work alongside the international community to encourage and support efforts to resolve the Anglophone crisis. We work with a wide range of stakeholders including CONAC, the Government of Cameroon and the private sector to support transparency and improve the business climate for all investors. Corruption undermines the rule of law and democracy, corrodes the fabric of society, deters private sector investment, and creates barriers to doing business. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/11/2018 answer text <p>​The FCO's departmental allocation supports a range of programme work supporting policy priorities including gender equality. Within this area, there is a particular focus on Women, Peace and Security, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict, Girls' Education and LGBT rights. The programme is agile and adaptive so the number of projects is not static.</p><p>In addition, the Commonwealth Fund operated by the FCO 2018-2020 funds two two-year programmes: the network of Women Mediators across the Commonwealth (£1.6m) and a programme to provide support to Commonwealth governments looking to reform legislation that disproportionately affects women and girls and LGBT people (£5.6m).</p><p>FCO arms-length bodies, such as the British Council, the BBC World Service, and the Chevening Scholarships Programme, also support gender equality. The FCO's delivery of programmes under the NSC's larger Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) also contribute to gender equality.
