answer text <p>Encouraging travellers to obtain appropriate travel insurance and to understand their policy is a key part of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's 'Travel Aware' communications campaign. Our campaigns encourage travellers to ensure they (1) take out travel insurance, which covers them for all the activities they intend to participate in (2) apply for, if travelling within Europe, a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) and understand what it covers, and (3) understand that medical treatment can be expensive.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The following Israeli and Palestinian non-governmental organisations and projects are funded from the bilateral programme budget during the current financial year (2016/17). These are projected spend figures so are subject to change.</p><p>- Burj Alluqluq Centre Society - This project aims to prevent conflict through the creation of extra-curricular programmes that enable youth to have alternatives to being on the street, reducing the likelihood of violence and countering extremism in the most marginalised areas in Occupied East Jerusalem. Through academic and leadership training, this project will improve employment prospects and build the skills of vulnerable youth. - £49,324</p><p>- El Hakawati - Promoting stability in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPTs), and preserving the cultural and physical viability of the two-state solution. Supporting the human rights of vulnerable and at-risk children in an area of Gaza. - £9,400</p><p>-Palestinian Marine Navigators Association - Reducing the risk of conflict and encouraging greater stability with Israeli naval forces by providing equipment and training to vulnerable fishermen in Gaza Strip contributing to the safety and economic prosperity of Gazan fishermen. - £19,500</p><p>- Society for the Care of Disabled Families (SOCADIF) -Promoting stability in OPTs, and physical viability of the two-state solution. Building on UK leadership by providing vocational/professional training to disabled women in Rafah, supporting their human rights and economic viability. - £9,000.</p>

answer text <p>We share the concerns of the Commission of Inquiry regarding human rights in Eritrea. The UN Human Rights Council in June adopted a resolution responding to the findings of the Commission's report. This resolution set out steps needed to improve the human rights situation in Eritrea.</p><p>We are taking steps to support implementation of this resolution. We have made clear to the Government of Eritrea the tangible improvements we want to see, including amending its national service system, fully implementing its own constitution and releasing those arbitrarily detained.</p><p> </p> more like this
