Friend the Secretary of State for Exiting the EU (Mr Davis) leads on negotiations with the EU, as I said to the Foreign Affairs Committee last week, our Departments are working closely together to get the best possible deal for the British people</del>.<ins class="ministerial">The Department for Exiting the European Union is the lead department for such matters.
