A number of humanitarian organisations assess that the Vučjak site is unsafe and undignified and have urged the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to relocate those based at the site urgently. The United Kingdom has encouraged the Turkish authorities to implement the recommendations made by the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) following their previous visit to the prison in 2016.</p><p>The British Government engages closely with Turkey to encourage the full protection of fundamental rights, including with regard to the treatment of detainees. I emphasised the importance of these issues when I met the Turkish Ambassador in September. The previous Foreign Secretary discussed the treatment of minority religious communities with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Qureshi during his visit to the UK in June 2019. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/10/2019 answer text <p>It is our longstanding policy to oppose the death penalty in all circumstances as a matter of principle. The UK has raised its concerns at the highest level of the Government of Pakistan about specific cases and continues to urge Pakistan to ensure due process and adherence to international obligations.</p><p>The UK is supportive of the Juvenile Justice System Act passed in Pakistan in 2018, which prohibits executions of juveniles and makes provisions regarding separate courts for juvenile offenders. The Chief Justice of Pakistan has committed to establish a child court in every district. The UK is directly supporting the establishment of the first courts and training for the judiciary and lawyers.
