answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/01/2017 answer text <p>The UK remains committed to supporting Greece with the implementation of the EU-Turkey agreement, which is helping reduce migrant flows across the Aegean. The UK has committed up to £34 million to support vulnerable refugees and migrants in Greece. At the end of 2016 the UK provided 40 case-workers over the winter to support Greece in handling refugees. This is in addition to the 75 staff we had already provided.</p><p>The UK works with the Greek authorities to identify unaccompanied asylum-seeking children who may be eligible for resettlement in UK, here, and are working with Greece to identify unaccompanied refugee children. They can pay as much (minimum payment of £5) and as frequently as they wish. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/10/2016 answer text <p>​The Sri Lankan government has taken a number of positive steps to improve the human rights situation in that country, but we recognise that there remains much to be done. In our statement to the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in June we set out the areas we felt were important for Sri Lanka to focus on. These included further land returns in the north of the island, the repealing of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, the devolution of political authority through constitutional reform and the creation of credible justice mechanisms. I most recently raised Tamil issues with Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister in September. The consular case of Mr Andargachew Tsege was not a factor in the process. The programme focuses on building an understanding of the rule of law, human rights and international humanitarian law, and the assessment evaluated the programme to be supporting the reduction of human rights violations. The Saudi-led Coaltion announced it will immediately investigate the airstrike hitting a funeral hall in the Yemeni capital Sana’a on 8 October along with Joint Incidents Assessment Team (JIAT). Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), that Mr Tsege would be allowed access to independent legal advice to allow him to discuss options under the Ethiopian legal system. Since then, the Foreign Secretary, my Rt Hon. Friend the Member for Uxbridge and South Ruislip (Mr Johnson) has raised Mr Tsege's case with his Ethiopian counterpart, Foreign Minister Tedros, on 3 occasions, most recently during the UN General Assembly in New York, insisting that the Ethiopians follow through with their commitment to allow legal access. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/10/2016 answer text <p>When a British national (BN) enters into an emergency loan agreement with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) they sign a form to declare that they have exhausted all other methods of helping themselves, and accept the sum of the debt in its entirety. By signing the form, the BN is acknowledging that if they do not repay the loan within 6 months, the remaining balance will be subject to a surcharge of 10%; and that the total amount loaned to them must be repaid within five years. Failure to repay the debt may result in legal proceedings to recover monies owed.</p><p>In most cases, people are also required to agree to give up their passport. In all cases they must acknowledge that Her Majesty's Passport Office will not process an application for a new passport until the debt is paid in full. They must also consent for the Department for Work and Pensions to release to the FCO such information as may be relevant in respect of any non-payment.</p><p>We know that some individuals face difficulties in repaying their loan.
