answer text
The UK remains committed to the UN-led political process and will continue to work with the US and other partners in delivering this. The Foreign Secretary hosted a meeting of the Yemen Quad on 26 April in London, where Quad members, including the US, underlined their commitment to a comprehensive political solution for the conflict in Yemen and their endorsement of the agreements reached in Stockholm by the Yemeni parties in December 2018. On 8 May, the Foreign Secretary held discussions with the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, about Yemen, where such commitments were reaffirmed.
more like this

answer text
We are in regular contact with the Coalition about the need to ensure that any further military operations in and around Hodeidah are conducted in accordance with international humanitarian law, including on the protection of civilians, and do not disrupt commercial and humanitarian flows through the port. The Foreign Secretary met his counterparts from the United States, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on 27 September at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In the context of a rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation, they discussed how we could provide greater assistance to the Yemeni people by facilitating the entry of humanitarian and commercial goods into Yemen. I also discussed these matters with Saudi Foreign Minister Al-Jubeir, Emirati Deputy Foreign Minister Gargash, and US Defence Secretary Mattis in the margins of the Manama Dialogue on 27 October.
more like this

answer text
The UK does not have access to sufficient information to allow us to make accurate assessments of the effects of every individual action taken by the Saudi-led Coalition.

We are acutely aware that during armed conflict civilians often pay a heavy price. This underlines the imperative of reaching a political solution to the crisis. Peace talks are the top priority, as there can be no military solution to the conflict. A political settlement is the only way to bring long-term stability to Yemen and to address the worsening humanitarian crisis. The Yemeni parties must engage constructively and in good faith to overcome obstacles and find a political solution to end the conflict.
more like this
