<p>The Ministry of Defence leads on the gifting of strategically controlled equipment
overseas.</p><p>All proposals to gift are assessed and approved under the Consolidated
EU and National Arms Export Licensing Criteria. Agreed proposals are published annually
in the Strategic Export Controls Annual Report to Parliament and in the public domain.
