answer text <p>Within Defence, vaccinations are administered under the principles of informed consent. For some operational deployments and roles all personnel must be vaccinated either to manage medical risks, maintain critical capabilities, or if a host nation requires it as a condition of entry.</p><p>Those refusing or unable to take a COVID-19 vaccine may be ineligible to deploy or undertake certain roles, and we would seek to identify an alternate role for those affected.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Every member of the Armed Forces has been offered vaccination and boosters when sufficient time has elapsed since their second vaccine dose.</p><p>40% of Service personnel have been boosted thus far. answer text <p>As at 1 July 2021, 5,200 Regular and Reservist Armed Forces personnel were reported as absent from work because of COVID-19 self-isolation.</p><p>Defence has successfully maintained its core and most important outputs throughout the pandemic, reacting with agility and flexibility to mitigate the risks posed by COVID-19. While the need to undertake self-isolation and other measures have had an effect, they have not adversely affected our key operations.</p> more like this
