answer text <p>As laid out in my response to Question 169217, achieving Initial Operating Capability (IOC) requires 50 vehicles to be delivered in total. In addition to the 27 identified for the deployable squadron, the remaining 23 will be used by the Army to train crews and maintainers.</p><p> </p><p>It is anticipated that circa 115 trained, deployable personnel will be required at IOC as crew, however the precise breakdown will be determined closer to the time depending on operational requirements.</p> more like this

All payments will be conditional on continued satisfactory progress against the revised contracted schedule and full payment will not be made until all 589 vehicles have been delivered to the contracted requirement. answer text <p>The User Validation Trials were bespoke trials to establish the effectiveness of the proposed Ajax modifications, conducted jointly with General Dynamics. General Dynamics bore all of their costs associated with this activity and the Ministry of Defence bore approximately £650,000 in costs for the preparation, execution and analysis of the independent monitoring and instrumentation necessary for these joint trials.</p> more like this
