We do not hold the figure on how many Departments use these commercial providers and can only provide information for those using the NCSC offer. Of the 45 ministerial and non-ministerial departments there are 25 using, or are in the process of adopting the NCSC service. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2018 answer text <p>It is not possible to send spoof emails from a @GOV.UK domain address, so none have been sent from an address using the @GOV.UK domain since June 2016. This is due to the technical controls in place that prevent the forging of a GOV.UK email address (Sender Policy Framework and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance).</p><p> </p><p>The responsibility for monitoring of fake emails using the GOV.UK suffix is not conducted centrally. At that time, the NCSC had a team of approximately 700 people. At the end of its second year, in October 2018, the NCSC had a team of approximately 850 people. The aim is to bear down on the growing information and cyber risk, whilst improving scope for collaboration across the National Security community. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>Cabinet Office does not require central reporting of data breaches by government departments.</p><p> </p><p>The <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-minimum-cyber-security-standard" target="_blank">minimum cyber security standard</a> outlines the communications required by a department when there is a security incident that impacts on sensitive information or key operational services.</p><p> </p><p>The Government Security Group would be involved in the response to a category one or two</p><p>cyber security incident impacting a central government department(s), however to date an incident of this type has not occurred.</p><p> </p><p>The <a href="https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/news/annual-review-2018" target="_blank">National Cyber Security Centre’s Annual Report (2018)</a> provides the total number of incidents it has dealt with over the past year.</p> answering member constituency Aylesbury answering member printed Mr David Lidington question first answered 12/11/2018 09:37:31 answering member 15 label Biography information for Sir David Lidington
