answer text <p>The Financial Conduct Authority is investigating allegations of misconduct in foreign exchange markets. The Government is clear that any attempted manipulation of foreign exchange markets is completely unacceptable and it is leading the reform agenda both internationally and within the EU to reform the governance of financial benchmarks. The Government has also launched a joint review by the Treasury, the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority into the way wholesale financial markets operate.</p><p> </p><p>However, it would be inappropriate for the Government to comment on any potential or ongoing investigations.</p> more like this
