answer text <p>The ‘Broader Group’ is the only application-based element of the Warm Home Discount scheme. Energy suppliers are responsible for administering their own Broader Group processes, including deciding how they award rebates to their customers.</p><p> </p><p>The Government <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/warm-home-discount-better-targeted-support-from-2022" target="_blank">consulted</a> last summer on reforms to the scheme that would enable the vast majority of customers to receive their rebate automatically, without the need to apply. The Government will publish the response to the consultation in the spring, with the reforms coming into force from the 2022/23 scheme year.</p> more like this

answer text <p>UKAS is appointed by Government as the National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom to assess, against nationally and internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide conformity assessment services such as certification, testing, inspection, calibration and verification.</p><p>UKAS has stated they do not operate in Myanmar or provide accreditation services to companies owned by the Myanmar military. answer text <p>The Contracts for Difference scheme is the Government’s main mechanism for supporting new low-carbon electricity generation projects in Great Britain. The fourth allocation round of the Contracts for Difference scheme (AR4) opened on 13 December 2021. £285 million a year will be provided to businesses in AR4, which aims to secure more low-carbon electricity capacity than the previous three rounds combined. AR4 is open to an expanded number of renewable technologies, including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, tidal stream and floating offshore wind.</p><p> </p><p>Renewable electricity generation has more than quadrupled since 2010 having delivered over 40% of generation in 2020, outpacing fossil fuels for the first time ever, and is on track to deliver the majority of electricity by 2030.</p> more like this
