answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/06/2019 answer text <p>Universal Credit new claim advances provide access to a payment for those in financial need, which can be accessed on the same day, until their first payment is due. Claimants can access up to 100% of the total expected monthly award, for which they can pay back over a period of up to 12 months. From October 2021, this maximum repayment period will be extended from 12 to 16 months.</p><p> </p><p>The Department ensures claimants are made aware of their maximum advance entitlement and informed that their Universal Credit award will be adjusted over the relevant recovery period to take into account the advance of benefit they received.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>There were 1,046,000 claims made to Universal Credit during January to December 2018 which went into payment. We have recently started a pilot to test the demand for Jobcentre Plus Services on a Saturday. Up-rating UK State Pensions for recipients who are overseas residents is longstanding; state Pensions are payable worldwide and are up-rated where there is a legal requirement to do so.</p><p> </p><p>The policy on the up-rating of UK State Pensions paid to recipients living outside the UK has been in place for over 70 years. The UK State Pension is payable worldwide without regard to nationality. Entitlement to the UK State Pension is based on the national insurance contributions on a person’s national insurance record. The annual index-linked increases to UK State Pensions are paid to recipients overseas only where there is a legal requirement to do so, for example in EEA countries or in countries where there is a reciprocal agreement in place that provides for the up-rating of the UK State Pension. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/07/2017 answer text <p>The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will not be attending the International Aircraft Cabin Air Conference at Imperial College, London in September 2017. HSE works with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to regulate health and safety at work in the aviation industry. This operates through a memorandum of understanding and associated guidance document CAP 1484 (see documents attached).</p><p>CAP 1484 states that by agreement CAA regulates health and safety on board aircraft and advises on the health implications of exposure to hazardous substances on crew and passengers.
