answer text <p>The UK and Ireland have signed a reciprocal agreement which will protect the social security rights of UK and Irish nationals living and/or working in each other’s state when the UK leaves the EU. answer text <p>A UK national resident in the UK on the specified date who then seeks to move to an EU27 MS after the specified date is in scope of the Withdrawal Agreement for the purpose of state pension uprating if they have been subject to the legislation of an EU27 MS prior to the specified date.</p><p> </p><p>We will want to discuss in future talks state pension uprating for individuals who are not covered by the Withdrawal Agreement.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK State Pension will remain payable worldwide under domestic legislation following our departure from the EU. We have now reached agreement with the EU to maintain State pension up-rating for those covered by the Withdrawal Agreement. This includes UK nationals living in the EU27 on the specified date or UK nationals who have been subject to the legislation of an EU27 member state prior to the specified date once they reach state pension age even if they are living in the UK on the specified date.</p><p>For UK nationals living in the EU on the specified date this includes people who are already receiving their UK State Pension as well as future UK State Pensioners who have not yet reached State Pension age. We will want to discuss in future talks State Pension up-rating for individuals who are not covered by the Withdrawal Agreement.</p> more like this
