answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/04/2019 answer text <p>The UK and Ireland have signed a reciprocal agreement which will protect the social security rights of UK and Irish nationals living and/or working in each other’s state when the UK leaves the EU. question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether UK state pensions will be uprated after the UK leaves the EU for (a) UK citizens of pension age who currently live in an EU country other than the UK, (b) UK citizens of less than pension age who reside in an EU country other than the UK and who intend to retire there and (c) UK citizens who reside in the UK and who intend to retire to an EU country other than the UK in the future.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/01/2018 answer text <p>The UK State Pension will remain payable worldwide under domestic legislation following our departure from the EU. We have now reached agreement with the EU to maintain State pension up-rating for those covered by the Withdrawal Agreement. This includes UK nationals living in the EU27 on the specified date or UK nationals who have been subject to the legislation of an EU27 member state prior to the specified date once they reach state pension age even if they are living in the UK on the specified date.</p><p>For UK nationals living in the EU on the specified date this includes people who are already receiving their UK State Pension as well as future UK State Pensioners who have not yet reached State Pension age.
